EVALUATION AND COMMENTS
ON THE CONSULTATION

1. We had a very gracious host
2. The sun always shines in Finland, but during the night too!
3. Good atmosphere - great work done - new relationships formed
4. We have understood each other better than in Crete. Everyone was
included. Thanks to Kirsti and the Committee for a good job.
5. It is better to work on a paper - this worked well
6. Thanks from a newcomer Fr Gabriel - Orthodox preparing for Pentecost -
theme was right
7. Wonderful days - done a good job - nothing that can't be improved - in
two years time the situation will be different - opportunity at the
beginning of the next consultation to nominate the committee members -
give people time to think
8. need time to get to know new people - nominations would be better to
come later - but give notice that we are looking for people
9. Rich experience meeting brothers and sisters from all over Europe -
video projector was very useful - excellent facilities here - thanks to
Kirsti.
10. Learned many things - although reluctant to come at first - sharing of
experiences - good to meet people from different countries - tried to
understand the spirit of Standards - how to apply this in our counties.
Try to publicise the network. Good to have presence of more from
"Latin Europe" in future.
11. Wonderful that all the people travelled to my home area.
12. Can use the Standards paper now! (Bioethical Committee meets on Monday
- show it to government officials)
13. Thank you from Denmark - not a strong ecumenical movement there - good
to meet people from all the different traditions. Prayers from the
different confessions was a very good thing.
14. Thank you from Russia. May the Lord bless you all with good health
with his grace and happiness in your vital but very difficult service.
15. France - happy to be here - learned many things - agrees about
insensibilities towards the Latin countries - particularly France - great
reforms in health care in France Importance of the Standards in promoting
pastoral service to the government.
