The Eurochaplains Group |

Here are detailed instructions about how to register your ID name and password and to join the Eurochaplains Group |
|
There are two stages to go through before
you are a full member of the Group
FIRST you must register an ID name and Password with Yahoo. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Eurochaplains/ This will open in a new window so that you can switch between these instructions and the Eurochaplains Group. You may prefer to print out this page so that you can refer to it as you go through the process. |

| You should be at the main Euorchaplains Group
page. Click "Sign in to Yahoo!" in the middle of the page. (Or "sign in" at the top right) This page will open: |

|
On this page click on "Sign up now" |
|
| Now you are at a page which invites you to "Sign
up for a Yahoo ID and Passworld for access to Yahoo Groups"
Choose an ID Name and password then fill in the form. Note when your are invited to fill in an "Alternate Email" this is your READ E-MAIL ADDRESS which will be used to send messages to you. Enter your real Email address in the box.

| When you have completed all the boxes click on
the grey box at the bottom marked "Submit
This Form"

| You will now come to the page of Terms
of Service.
Go to the foot of the page and click on the grey box marked "I Accept"
|
|
| If you have chosen an ID
name which is already in use
you will be taken back to the previous page. Chose another ID name
and complete any boxes marked on the form and submit
the form again.

| If everything is OK you will now go to the Registration Completed page | |

| I suggest that you click on the little box with
the tick/check mark to remove it so that Yahoo does not personalise
your browser.
Write down your ID name and Password. you will be asked to enter them every time you go to the Eurochaplains site. Now click "Continue to My Yahoo! which should take you back to the main Yahoo Eurochaplains Group Page You should see this: |

| Now that you have registered your Yahoo ID
and password you have reached the
SECOND STAGE: Joining the Eurochaplains Group Click on "Join This Group" |
|
| Yahoo will then take you to a page asking to "Verify your Email address" | |
|
Check that your correct Email address is listed on this page. If this is correct then click (Verify) Yahoo will now send you an Email to check you are who you say you are! You will now come to this page: |

|
|
| There is nothing more
you can do now until the Email from Yahoo arrives.
Check your Email inbox. It is normally quite quick but it might take a few minutes. |

Look for an Email from "Yahoo Member Services" with the subject "Registration confirmation - Yahoo!"
In this Email click on "Click Here to Activate your New Account" You will then go to the page "Join this Group"
This page tells you that the Moderator (Fred Coutts) must approve your application. He will do this as soon as possible after you apply. At the foot of this page Click "Join" in the grey box
You will then go to a page:
Go back to your Email In-box: Look for an Email from "Yahoo
Member Services" The text will be something like this:
Click on the link in the Email. You should now be back at the Eurochaplains Group page awaiting the approval of your application by the Moderator. Check the details and make any changes necessary on this page Then click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page
You should now be back at the Eurochaplains Home page awaiting the approval of the Moderator. You will receive an Email telling you when approval has been given.
